Favourite shoes!

Recently someone asked me to talk about my favourite shoes. Well here they are, maybe not what I would have chosen a few years ago but I love these now. As you can see they are very dirty, I have given up cleaning them much because I only get them dirty again every day. I have seen some of the most beautiful things in them and enjoyed my own company walking and taking pictures. I don't like welllies so these get very muddy on the beach and now they never get past the porch. I have to confess that I often don't even untie the laces but slip them on and off like slippers, something I would have been very cross to see had my children done it! I hope they last forever, but I suspect, given the neglect they receive, they won't. My husband recently bought me a new pair which I save for best ie when I'm not going to muddy places but somehow they are not as lovely!
