Restoring lake health.

The theme for Wide angle Wednesday is flowing water. I don't have an image of it but that is what is being talked about here [you have to believe me].  Our walking group was visiting a previously polluted lake which has been hugely improved by the farmer talking to us here. He has eliminated willows, planted natives around the edges and installed silt-traps to stop sediment flowing in. Clear water is starting to flow again.Most New Zealanders are very concerned about the state of our fresh waterways so it is great to see remedial action being taken.
