Elf antics

Ava and Boy elf were busy last night. When everyone woke up and came downstairs Cleo said, "Look! It's amazing!" The elves had decorated the tree in toilet paper. When I asked Cleo who had done that to the tree she said, "Daddy!" I then explained that it was the elves- that they are magic and at night they flew around the tree with the toilet paper. Ever the skeptic, she looked a bit confused for a minute and then said, "noooooo...." Ah, well. I wonder what they will get up to tonight. The children both enjoyed cleaning up the mess that the elves left, especially Ash I think.

We went to the Winter Wonderland Victorian market at Walton Gardens. It was neither a winter wonderland or a Victorian market. It wasn't much, really, but there was a lone lit up tree, a cupcake stand (Victorian?) and a children's performer. There was more fun to be had looking at the animals and playing on the playground anyway (for Cleo).

Cleo quote of the day- Hiding in a box, wanting me to find her she said I should close my eyes and think about sheep (I think she wanted me to count.)

In other news, Carl completed his giant gingerbread man challenge today and I think he did a spiffing job! It is the coolest giant gingerbread robot man ever!
