Shy!

Long walks in the morning along the beach allow me to get off into the dunes and see a bit more real Goan life.  The extras show the strangler vine, Goan equivalent of American tumbleweed - the 8" balls are torn from their vines by the wind and bowl along the beach - and another route to the beach near the fishmen's boats.  I also saw a white headed kite re-arranging her nest in a coconut palm and then sitting tight, so many flowers and birds and a little Portuguese house tucked away in the dunes with a massive punchball hanging outside amongst the bougainvillaea.
