Shopping for the bairn

The bairn is getting a new flat. When I say the bairn that means my youngest child. I was the bairn well into my 50s. Just in case you didn't know this, bairn means child in the NE of England. I think it has a Scandinavian origin but I am not sure. Maybe you know?

Incidentally the bairn is 25.
