Colourful display

After a few months' break, we had a date with our regular monthly lunch friends. Carolyn hasn't been well, but at last she feels able to be sociable. We stopped at the florist to take flowers to cheer her. They had a very colourful display. We went to their house, then the menfolk went out and bought fish and chips. An easy relaxed lunch, and it was good to be back in their company. Carolyn still has more surgery to face, so we wish her well.
We were forecast snow but we had the merest sprinkling (see extra) This was followed by a beautiful sunny day with interesting clouds.
