The Christmas Blanket

The finshed article, only a bit late, at least it's still January. It's cold enough to need the blanket over my legs when sitting on the sofa.
1cm of snow this morning which made me a bit nervous as I set off for a 9:00 am hospital appointment up our narrow windy hilly ungritted lane.  Roads all clear now. Greater trochanter still fractured. Consultant told me it could take up to a year to heal, what a bore. On the bright side,  I would not have a Christmas blanket if I had not had to spend more time than usual sitting on the sofa.
