Ely Cathedral

A big day at Ely Cathedral. When I woke up this morning there was a sprinkling of snow on the ground, enough to give things a pretty look, but not enough to be a bother.
The train trip to Ely was enhanced by the snow and the Cathedral looked great.
I visited the Stained Glass Museum and also did the tour that took you right up into the bell tower. It was marvellous and my photos don’t do it justice.I spent hours at the Cathedral.
In the afternoon I had a short rest before dinner at High Table at Trinity College with Kirsty and Alex. A different experience. Kirsty is a chaplain here so I have been fortunate to get the accommodation and go to dinner here at Trinity.
