Speakers Corner

For those unaware of it Speakers Corner is an area set aside in Hyde Park where open-air public speaking, debate and discussion is allowed.

Speakers can talk on any subject as long as it is deemed lawful (in other words no incitement to hate laws are contravened).

Many debates are based on religion. This guy is informing us that Islam does not oppress women and carried pamphlets entitled 'Women in Islam: beyond stereotypes'.

Other speakers included a Creationist and a guy in a Soviet military hat, which had the unfortunate effect of making him look like Idi Amin (he was debating the environment).
