Time warp!!

We have lived in this house for nearly over 25 years.
When we purchased it, it was a little tired. The old lady, Mrs Stevens, who lived here previously had been ill and moved to a home 2 years previously.
This week, out of the blue a postcard arrived for her from some friends. The postcard, in excellent condition was postmarked 14 May 1969!

The post mark certainly looks official and the postcard is around the appropriate age.
Mrs Stevens sadly passed away about 23 years ago and would have been about 110 years old by now.
Perhaps as the postcard only had 4 penny stamp on the Post Office decided to take their time.
