Behaving

For the first couple of days post procedure I need to rest up more than I stand up. My 15 minute stand up limit is eaten up quickly. Hopefully I get it right often enough to prevent any complications.

I had a visit from a builder sent by the company who built my home today. My damaged garage door will be replaced and the gib surrounding it removed. He'll check that the structures behind and around the door are correct. It will be re-gibbed and painted. There is no expense to me.

I sat in a camping chair in my garage with my leg resting on a bag of potting mix while we discussed what would happen. I'm very happy with this outcome. It's a battle I no longer need to fight.

I had 3 visits from friends. One brought me fruit, another brought me flowers, and another finished off the watering I couldn't manage. I'm well looked after.

Today's gratitude: For the opportunity to have long phone conversations with both of my aunts.
