Commute

When I leave "on time", I change buses at the park-and-ride, where there are fine views of the south end of the Pentlands. Being a major deadline for applications, today I have the excitement of helping a prospective PhD student write his research proposal. It's also quite stressful, as he will either end up being an important person in my working life for three years or disappear, having not got funding or choosen to work for someone else.
