Winter Conditions are Dangerous

..... for our Bouquetin families just now, avalanche danger is level 4 out of 5 but they have to keep moving. I watched Mum and baby moving down the snow slope near the rocks to get to a flatter area (extra) where they could scrape away the snow to graze. On the next mountain a very mature male was lying in a relatively safe chimney (extra). Looking at his ice encrusted face, he must have been there during last night's blizzard.

I had to add in a buzzard that was near the house today, they are so difficult to photograph.
