Crisp, Clear and Cold .... just the way I like it!

It took until lunchtime for the sunshine and blue sky to make an appearance.

Although the temperature was just below zero it didn't feel too cold .... walking briskly round the loch certainly helped to keep the blood flowing to toes and finger tips.

Apart from one small area the loch was completely frozen. I spotted four Canada Geese sitting out on the ice but they were just too far away for a photo. The lapwings were just a little bit closer and stood like little statues while I tried to hold the camera steady.
