I giorni della merla

The last days of January here in Italy are known as “i giorni della merla”, which translates as “ the days of the lady blackbird”. There’s a legend attached to them, which I don’t remember, unfortunately. Anyway, they are supposed to be the coldest days of the year. and they are!
