Pockets of weather.....

....or micro climates.

Where I live always seems to have different weather to where I work.

Today was a good example, thick freezing fog for the first 15 minutes of my journey then I rose above the cloud inversion to glorious sunshine. The transition was particularly beautiful, a vivid pink filled the sky as the sun poked through the thick layer of fog (a couple of minutes from where this shot was).

Fog looks better if you go large.

Another day of bitter coldness with some areas getting dumped on with snow.
