The House By the Sea

A grey one today. We’re struggling through an unusual weather pattern which thankfully appears to be moving out tomorrow evening. I walked, but I was a bit more aware of the lack of sunlight today.

I wrote a lyric, ‘The 3 Nevers,’ inspired by 1 Peter 2:18-25. It’s written that we’ve been invited to a different kind of life. The invite is passive, but accepting the invitation requires action on our part. Check it out!

Tonight has a warmth to it, not the weather kind mind you, but the relational family kind. I’m feeling sweet blessings as I read and write next to my wife in our (as she loves to say), ‘house by the sea.”
