Basketball, Stafford, and all the Rest

I received in the mail today a “Friends of William Stafford Newsletter”, and in it was an article about...us. By us, I mean the basketball team. You can read the article if you enlarge the collage. Tonight, after practice, the moms hosted a team dinner, and the girls were in charge of finding their own inspirational quote. That’s the cool thing about this team; they do more than shoot three pointers and play defense. They try to see something greater than themselves. They don’t ever let go of the thread.
