Shelter From the Storm

I prepared a photo of two yellow daylilies (see extra shot), but after the rain started I saw this bedraggled bumblebee in one of them.

The morning was overcast and the temperature was a comfortable 22-23 degrees. I was able to get a lot of work done in the garden, which was very satisfying. But then the sun came out and I had to retreat to the house as the temperature rose. When the promised sou’wester came it brought wind, rain and a rapid temperature drop- 10º in the first 10 minutes. How refreshing!
