Scribbler

Coming and going

When a flock of birds is posing for you, you'd better be quick with your camera.

I wasn't.

First the tree on the left was full of perching birds. Then a flock wheeled upward from the right, like Esther Williams precision swimmers. Too quickly they disappeared.  I waited for them to return. Finally they did—sort of. But the perchers became flyers, and the flyers jumped from limb to limb. How long is a blipper supposed to wait?

What ended up fascinating me about this image is the way the leaves of the tree on the right echo the birds in flight on the left. Though now I'm not sure whether some of those leaves are birds!

She saw what she saw and she clicked what she meant,
and scribbler was faithful, one hundred percent.
She meant what she clicked and she clicked what she'd seen,
and now that she's posted it's time for caffeine.

This is silly enough for Silly Saturday, but it's only Tiny Tuesday.
Does a tiny brain count?
(I speak, of course, of the birds.)
