Arrowtown

Arrowtown is about 1 hour drive from Wanaka and I went there today to visit friends while Jill was working. It is a very pretty, tourist town and there were lots of people on the main street...yet just glancing away from the busy Main Street was this pretty little oasis, with no one there! I have no idea why people don’t explore away from the main streets.

Had 2 great walks with Frida and 2 different friends. Introduced my two friends over lunch, as both have just retired and moved to Arrowtown to live. It was a special day as I’ve known both of them for decades.

Good to be home...even Frida is tired after our 6.30am start from and 7pm return to Wanaka.
