THE WHITE STUFF!

Hi there everyone. There seemed to be snow over most of the UK today, and Cornwall being no exception. It came down quite a lot here in Foxhole, and there were 3/4 cars & vans stranded outside our house in the road. Cars had difficulty going up the hill, and down the other side. Barry and I didn't have to go out fortunately. My Asda delivery was cancelled, hopefully I will get a phone call today regarding another delivery. I can't believe the disruption caused by an afternoon of snow. The A30 had the worst, with over 100 cars being stranded. Thankfully the famous Jamaica Inn took people in, and made room for most of them. Some of the people had walked 5 miles to get to it, as they were so cold sitting in the car. The road has now opened, but still very dodgy driving on it.
The snow was all new to our cat Lottie. She went out in the garden, sniffing etc, and made plenty of footprints in the snow. I didn't let her out for too long though, as it was so very cold. Our other cat Jezzie wouldn't even think of going out...bless her!
Tomorrow should be a better one.
