It's been too long....

Everything fell into place last night for aurora hunters in my house! 

Solar storm, magnetic field, beautifully clear skies and the WWW at its very best, passing information and updates

Online it looks like this was visible over a pretty wide area, Whitby right on up to the Shetlands so really quite the show

It's a solar minimum just now and it does seem like forever since we had a decent showing and it was really great, if not very very chilly to go sprint up the road away from the street lights to fire off a few shots until the battery died!
