Federal Territories Day

Holiday but Gordon was working. After more work we went to the Gardens Mall at Midcity to buy swimming goggles and a new swimsuit. Both girls wore their goggles as we processed through the Mall.

Lunch at Madame Kwan's and then back home. Olivia and I spent ages in the pool and I had a short seat on the balcony before it was off to Cheras for the CNY Reunion Dinner, the Foo side of the family. About 7 courses with bucketloads tea. But actually you don't eat a huge amount. It was all accompanied by film from China and HK on the large screens - lion dances, singing and other CNY festivities. Bizarrely one was filmed at the Crematorium where Wen Hui's grandmother's funeral was last week. You wouldn't get that at Mortonhall.

The extra is at the CNY lion stand, red lanterns everywhere and the girls got Peppa Pig ang pow envelopes tonight.
