Altercation in the fowl market

Marvellous day - went to the Friday market at Mapusa - it was very hot and the difficulty with photographs was the bright sunlight and deep shadows, and also that many people don't like being photographed so I had to be a bit sneaky.  Extras: On the way there I saw this wonderful statue of Ganesh, made from coconut chippings and mud (he will have to be sheltered under a tarp in the monsoon season),  trust the Indians to discover a new modelling medium; 5 grey ladies, 3 year old with his i phone atop the cauliflower and a tender moment.  There were so many other wonderful things but I can't get picasa to work.
