Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos major)

Great Spotted Woodpecker at the feeder. Now I know that it's a female, because "males have a crimson patch on the nape, which is absent from the otherwise similar females."  Wikipedia.


I am glad to see that she has managed to chop off a piece of suet.
