Anemone

A brave anemone I found growing in a pot in the garden today. I didn’t realise any of them were actually in flower. It had blown over in the wind and half severed its stalk so I brought it inside to take photos rather than hang around outside.
We got a dusting of snow overnight but nothing like the amount forecast.
Guess what! Our village pub has closed again after a record brief attempt to get it going again. The next nearest is a couple of miles away and it’s too cold and dark to walk so unfortunately I’m driving tonight.....
