Take me to your leader

We have had a lot of snow in the last 24 hours. I could have offered you a lovely snow scene with red berries or some such.

We have also had an amazing collection of birds flocking to our well stocked feeders. Goldfinches, greenfinches, chaffinches, dunnocks, etc, fluffed up robins and more tits than the Folies Bergère.


But I have instead chosen this black headed gull, poised bat-like above an ornamental light positioned in a public square and which changes colour intermittently.
