Feed the Birds

We had quite a bit of snow yesterday evening and overnight although with temperatures hovering just above freezing point it seemed as if it was melting as soon as it had settled. This morning we seemed to have an accumulation of maybe 5 centimetres with an icy crust on the top and beneath it. I haven't been very far, just out to the garden to clear a way to the downstairs storeroom and to replenish the bird's food and water.
