Snow Good

We woke up to the first reasonable covering of snow this winter; about three inches of the stuff. Nothing unusual in getting snow in the winter but the TV news made a meal of it as they always do. At least it's always good for a Blip; this was taken from the side window and is a view of the 'field hedge' that I keep attacking every now and again to stop it from taking over (it may look tall now but that is nothing compared to the solid wall of ivy that was there a couple of years ago).

I've added an extra; a view of the garden from the kitchen door at about 6am when I got up.
