The Return of the Lit Leopard

Aberdeen's Illuminated Leopard is now back in his old haunts, on the traffic island at the Rosemount Viaduct end of Union Terrace, opposite the Public Library, St Mark's Church and His Majesty's Theatre ("Education, Salvation & Damnation" in local parlance!)

Looking again at the photo, I am struck by the way his muzzle looks more like that of an equine than that of a large cat - a 'trick of the light' no doubt...
