We had a little snow last night, but it wasn’t as white as the previous morning’s frost.

A morning of general duties, then I took the parcel of forms to the post office. I had hoped to collect the new tablets that were recommended after my test on Monday ....no joy.

I have been chasing them up with little success. Eventually I found out that the GP has said that they are too expensive and has written to the hospital to ask them to prescribe them (pay for them) !!!

I won’t go into detail, but I was ready to ‘throw the rattle out of the pram’. What annoyed me mostly was the fact that no one was prepared to inform me as to what was happening.

I only went to the hospital for the test at the request of the GP, I haven’t seen a consultant, so who is going to authorise payment!!

Having worked for the NHS for 50 years, I’m normally an advocate for the the system. But today I was well and truly p.....d off.

I will wait ............hopefully it won’t take toooo loooong :0(
