Egg head.

Getting creative whilst making Kedgeree. It's been so cold today. A slushy, sleety, damp cold that really digs deep into the bones. Cooked some flapjacks to cheer myself up and then spent some stimulating conversation time with my daughter who called in on her way to a home visit. She is working as an assistant physiotherapist, hoping to train as a physio in future.
Later some of the family reassembled in our kitchen in preparation for a Friday night out. Good to see my three youngest interacting and having fun together.
Today I am grateful to be at home and out of the cold, my lovely family and eating comfort food.
