Turdus viscivorus

Glancing out of the window I noticed a bird perched on top of the Squirrel feeder.  My first thought was "the Sparrowhawk is back".   Almost immediately I noticed it wasn't the hawk it was a more recent visitor to the garden.

We don't see many thrushes Song or Mistle in the garden.  The last couple of weeks this bonny Mistle has been a regular visitor.  Judging by the way it was chasing the Blackbird away from the holly it is here because of the berries.
