Weeds will have to do

My humble offering for Flower Friday.

Can't believe it's already Friday!  Been a full week with multiple trades marching through again.  So far, we have the basement framed out into 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and hallway, all the electrical wiring has been done, the bathtub/shower enclosure was installed today and insulation has been placed in the ceilings (to help keep noise down).  Meeting with a young man this weekend who will hopefully be able to do the drywall for us.  Fingers crossed!

But much more exciting is that early tomorrow morning we'll head down to the coast to see our family and especially our newest addition...Ocean.  He's almost 4 weeks old and I could cry for the days I've missed, but will hold him as long and as much as I can tomorrow.  Such is life and a choice we made when moving away from our family.
