Encounters

Not exactly the best photo, but it was nice to see some roe deer during my morning walk with Django. It was another really cold but sunny morning - which I always find invigorating. 
I then went for my last YLG (Youth Libraries Group) meeting. I have been part of the YLG committee for 13 years, both in Scotland and Nationally; I have chaired both committees, as well as the panel for the Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals. It had become a huge part of my life, not only my career - and I developed so many friendships through it - that it was hard to let it go and this meeting was a bit emotional for me. 
In the evening, SparseRunner, L, K and I went to see Les Misérables.
