Frosty Meadows sunrise

Here's the sun making its first appearance on another bright, clear, chilly winter's morning in Edinburgh.

The usual Friday campus capers (profs' meeting, lunch with my research group, whittling down the email) were followed by a drink in Bruntsfield with Laura (and discussion of work towards a certain deadline in 2020).

While I was in the bar Bruce sent me an email with the good news of a conference submission made on 9th December: abstract accepted :-)

Exercise today: walking (13,524 steps).
