Castle Howard

Took the boss to Castle Howard today to see the house with all its christmas decorations. It was stunning. Every room was decorated and there was a pianist playing carols in the hall.

All the shutters were closed and the place was lit with candles and log fires. Very cosy and very festive. There were lots of children waiting to see Santa and mince pies.

The paths round the gardens all had christmas trees with lights on.

I bought a couple of glass baubles for my tree - next weekends task.

Now sat watching the Grinch!

I'm certainly winning him over, I may yet get a tree in the office!
