Muddy

Enjoyable day of work and pleasure in Westray.

So many of the fields are water
-logged. New lochans have appeared in low lying areas, surrounded by seas of mud. I was afraid I'd lose my wellies or sink in until the mud came over the top.

Rain and sleety showers but there were bright spells. My only photo was of this muddy yard of startled sheep.

I looked in at the Bargain Box - Westray's charity shop, and came away with 3 treasures, including a pair of new oven gloves.
