Candlemas

If Candlemas day be dry and fair
The half of the winter's to come and mair
If Candlemas Day be wet and foul
The half o the winter's gone at Yule


Beautifully bright and cold today with lying snow but the grass beginning to peek through.   So......?

(Also of course a Scottish  "cross quarter day" which are the holidays between quarter days , falling on Candlemas, May Day, Lammas and All Hallows)
