No golf and lens envy.

The golf course is closed today. I have no idea why!

Extra. Earlier I had a walk across Forvie Moor in search of the short-eared owls that are presently in residence. A group of wildlife photographers with lenses the size of a Churchill tank gun indicated the spot! I kept a low profile and quietly took out my pocket camera and did my best. A pretty poor photograph of an owl but I do like the winter colours of the vegetation.
