Myrtle is open!

We enjoyed breakfast in bed listening to our Jen taking one of the Radio Leeds presenters around her workers' cooperative for his 'Made in Yorkshire' slot on the morning show.  We may be prejudiced but we thought she did a grand job! 

The parkruns around us were closed today due to the snow.  Luckily Myrtle has a large-ish flat meadow and a keen team who, very early doors, got out the trundle wheel and managed to fit a five lap course in to the area.  130 runners turned out and a full volunteer team so the run went ahead.  From my marshalling position (the crook knee won't let me run yet) I had a good view of all the in and out action and the sun gradually rising and providing some very welcome sunshine and a bit of heat.
