Linlithgow Peel

B and I took a little day trip on the train to Linlithgow today, to visit the palace and walk around the loch. We are both learning about Mary Queen of Scots with our classes at school just now, so we wanted to visit her birthplace. The loch was mostly frozen over, with a light dusting of snow which made it particularly picturesque on this blue sky day.

The extras are of B standing on our frozen garden pond this evening and of the striking Jenners Depository building that we passed on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
