Frozen lamb

Having checked my phone to find that six of the local park runs were cancelled due to ice, I almost went back to bed. Amazingly the seventh one (Storthes Hall near Huddersfield) was on due to it being on woodland trail paths.

We all set off in temperatures of minus 2 degrees C. It's a slow course generally but I managed to slice 30 seconds off last week's time and finish on 27m 19s.

A 4 km walk this afternoon up to the moor. I took this shot on the way back.    It was freezing cold despite the sunshine.
