Ladies in leotards.

Well, not exactly leotards, but in official Zumba wear.

Today I drove through a beautiful winter Wonderland of trees laden with snow on both sides of the road. When I got to my destination there was not a snowflake in sight.

I spent the day from 11am to 4.30pm at a Zumbathon organised by our zumba instructor. Five plus hours of zumba dancing and exercising with different teachers incorporating different styles. There was a Zumba Strong Master Class which was high intensity and very tough, and didn't really incorporate zumba moves.

There were 400 people there, mainly women. Twelve of us were from our gym and the day was very enjoyable. Sally calculated that we had done 28000 steps. But I'm sure she should have added a 0. We replaced the calories wirh coffee and cakes and I also had a protein milkshake which was not to my taste.

The venue was the Maidstone and Meridian TV studio where Jules Holland records his Friday Night Live TV programme featuring different music artistes and genres.
