Amaryllis

The away day went very well today. That pressure has now gone. 

I have been waiting for my Christmas amaryllis to flower. Gradually this week the pod began to open and the four curled up flowers began to part. Talk about slow motion! Then all of a sudden today while I was out, two of the flowers opened. I just knew it would flower this coming week while I am away!
