Cotton wool crop.

I went to the nearby lake hoping to see ducks or geese skating away on the thin ice of the new day but the only thing was a banana skin (extra). On the way back I snapped the cotton wool crop. I like how the woolly heads contrast with the stalks.
In the afternoon I put my best hiking trousers on to get to the coast but the wind was so fierce I needed the camera stapled to my hands. I took a couple of pics. though (see extras 2 and 3).
