'Mr Robin'
Our garden isn't big, but what we do have is a small, but splendid bunch of trees.
These trees provide a superb home for a vast array of wild birds.
One permanent resident is 'Mr Robin'
Here you can see him, taking five from feeding frantically, to catching a few rays amongst the Winter morning chill.
For this shot, I used my vintage 80-200mm f4.5 lens.
It's old school, without the modern treats, like fast autofocus and image stabilisation. But it makes up for it, buy being brutally sharp.
I focused carefully, and grabbed the shot.
I've blown the highlights, ever so slightly. School boy error, for not paying attention, when the Robin arrived:)
Kind regards
Gav
