Slush and Strike

Strike day two (where the filming set, equipment and facilities are derigged) and my duties included sweeping slush and snow, litter picking cable ties, coffee cups and lighting gels, sorting scaffold brackets (to help the fab Irish riggers) and directing the Marine film safety crew to collect rubbish in the Dock. I found time for a cup of tea in a warm pick up truck while discussing what size skip was due on Monday. Ohhh the glamour of a strike!

Early off today and made it back to my village for a lovely gingerbread latte - a luxury after working 12.5 days straight. Day off tomorrow then back to it Monday.
