Pastel de nata from Loja da Cha

These Portuguese custard tarts are so delicious we had one every day while in Madeira! You can get them in the UK these days but never quite as good. This tea shop in Funchal served them with extra cream, which was a bit decadent, and added to the price. Some places were doing a pastel and a coffee for 1 euro, but we wanted somewhere to sit in the sun, and it was a our last day, so decadence ruled.
